Vintage Design
Small Louis XV commode in front and sides curved wood veneer and inlay pink and various colored wood, decorated floral. Over royal red marble.
It opens with 2 drawers without ties and rests on curved legs; those in front are lined with bronze hooves.
Inputs locks, falls and pattern apron are also in gilded bronze.
OF Louis XV, it is stamped “Peter WATTELIN”, born in 1719 and received master in 1757.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, removal and cleaning of bronzes, and waxed patina in our workshop.
