This is a lovely antique circa 1860 hand painted and lacquered Chinese Wedding cupboard for folded linens etc A very good looking and well made piece, these are now highly collectable as art furniture. This was has a nicely patinated elm lacquered frame which has been hand painted in gold with various scenes that have nicely faded Condition wise, we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there Dimensions Height:- 187.5cm Width:- 101.5cm Depth:- 43.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
