PK61 coffee table with white marble top designed by Poul Kjaerhom (1929-1980) for Ejvind Kold Christensen, Denmark in 1956. This table is from the sixties. Poul Kjærholm was architect and furniture designer. This coffee table is a great example of the playfulness of his designs. His designs are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. This coffee table is in good and original condition. The frame and top have age-related signs of use and wear (no tears in the top). Material: a white marble top and a matt steel frame. This is an original E. Kold Christensen version with the EKC Denmark logo in the frame (see photo), Dimensions: h x w x d = 80 x 80 x 35 cm.
