Antique 18th Century Japanese Edo Arita Kakiemon Porcelain Tea Caddy With Ormolu Gilt Bronze Mounts

Antique 18th century Japanese Kakiemon porcelain tea caddy or urn with ormolu gilt bronze mounts. Decorated with quail and exotic birds perched on flowering prunus branches. Nice large size – measures 9″ tall x 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″. Good condition – the cover has chips/loss and there is old cellophane tape. Presents beautifully. Fitted on the inside with a heavy pewter inner lid.
