Osteria chairs made from the early 1900s.
The Viennese company Kohn was founded in 1849 by Jacob Kohn specializing in construction timber. In 1867 his brother Josef joined and oriented towards the production of furniture.
In 1882 they had branches throughout Europe and became the main Austrian producers in direct competition with Thonet, thanks also to the expiry of the Thonet patent for curved wood, which they could be able to include in their production.
These chairs are ideal for a rustic dining room will give a sense of warmth and refinement to your environments.
All the chairs have the Marco on fire and the paper label of the time.
The session has been restored to two of the chairs as visible from the photo over the years.
The other chairs are in a good conservative state as visible from photos.
