Signed Richard Blenko Pedestal Bowl Art Glass Year 2000 Special Designer Series

This signed Rickard Blenko pedestal bowl is one of Blenko’s yearly special designer series offerings. Handblown and crafted in 2000, this pedestal bowl is slightly different from the regular pedestal bowl (item #9826) offered in the glass maker’s 2000 catalog. The unsigned bowl is 8 inches high, while this signed special edition is 6 3/4 inches high. The color scheme is the same for both the more common unsigned and the special signed edition. The bowl is a semi-transparent blue. The stem is clear glass. The pedestal foot is rich bottle green. The entire item is in near mint condition. No blemishes. A few tiny bubbles can be seen in the glass, which is normal in Blenko glassware. Dimensions: Bowl, 14 inches wide; Base, 5 3/8 inches wide; Height, 6 3/4 inches.
